Owner's Chianti and Ovidia’s friendship began a decade ago when they were paired together on the rugby field in college. Their shared passion for both art and rugby sparked an instant bond. Over time, they pursued bachelor’s degrees in graphic design, and their artistic journeys eventually led them into the world of tattooing. After years of learning, they seized the opportunity to open a shop together, wanting to create a welcoming and safe space where BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists can thrive and express themselves freely.
Tattoos are about self expression and creative freedom. In many ways, a tattoo is a love letter to oneself, and as artists, we help to write that letter for our clients. We felt the name fit the unique and special celebration that happens everytime a tattoo is created and inked.
That's a hard question to answer without knowing what you may want tattooed. Keep in mind the price will vary from artist to artist due to experience. On top of that, prices will vary because of the design itself depending on the size, placement and detail. In order to get an accurate estimate, please be as detailed as possible when inquiring with your artist.
Again, this will vary from artist to artist, but the shop does not have a card reader nor do we have an ATM or keep change on the premises. Please ask your artist what options they provide and come prepared.
Please avoid alcohol at least 12 hours before your tattoo. It is illegal for you to get a tattoo while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and it can also make the process more difficult, painful, and can cause complications. Please also avoid getting sunburned as we can not legally tattoo you if your skin is burnt.
Please wear clothing that gives your tattoo artist easy access to the placement of your tattoo and that is comfortable to sit in for the duration of your appointment. Please note that our shop is an open floor, but we have dividers, nipple covers, and drape sheets available if you prefer more privacy.
Remember to moisturize the area to be tattooed as much as possible before your appointment (avoid lotion the day of) and avoid any blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, alcohol, caffeine, etc. on the day of your tattoo. Make sure to eat a good meal before your appointment, come well rested and hydrated.
Hey! We get it, tattoos can hurt. Most of our artists are familiar and comfortable working with some numbing creams, but it is so important that you consult with your artist BEFORE you use one. Depending on the tattoo, it may not be recommended. Also, not all numbing creams are created equally and if you're going to use one, please use the brand that your artist recommends. It can really make the difference for your artist while they're tattooing you and in the longevity of your tattoo.
Our shop is pretty small, but we can often accomodate guests no problem. Just double check with your artist beforehand to make sure.
Yes! We take walk-ins every Thursday & Friday (1pm-6pm) and Saturday (12pm-5pm). No need to call ahead, but keep in mind that walk-in appointments are on a first come, first serve basis. Some projects may not be able to be completed the same day, but your artist will consult with you and hammer those details out. To learn more, click the button below:
